Those driven by FITNESS find deep satisfaction in feeling, strong, active, and healthy, while balancing it with the joy of deep flow states. Physical activities that require their mind and body to partner are deeply satisfying, allowing them to engage in intense activities to find “the zone”. Since they also appreciate intellectual and mentally satisfying activities, sports, exercise, and healthy habits are even more enjoyable when they contain a learning or strategic component to satisfy the mind.

Strengths

Often those who live a lifestyle aligned with FITNESS indulge in moments of contentment when they are engaged in intense mental or physical challenges when they find themselves “the zone”. The satisfaction from these deeply rewarding activities often serves as motivational boosts to push through the lulls. When this is rounded out through maintaining the fulfilling outward connections, they find themselves going to bed each night confident of their place in the world. There is a sense of pride in feeling healthy and strong and this can provide confidence to tackle what barriers they face on their journey. Challenges

Common challenges for a FITNESS driven lifestyle include maintaining fulfilling relationships and finding time for mindful stillness. It may be difficult to find the time and patience to indulge in more deeply satisfying relationships. Lower intense activities may not seem appealing and may go unappreciated, but without these, the pursuit of personal growth can leave a person with feelings of emptiness and alienation. Spending more time in ways that reconnect with the world such as resonant conversations with friends or being part of a group where those physical and mental skills are used in the service of others can add a more deeply satisfying balance. Another frequent challenge faced by those living aligned with FITNESS is the mental and physical exhaustion due to the intensity of these interests. Being mindful to set aside time to recharge and replenish will keep energy and motivation levels high and stable. Simple meditations, moments listening to music, or going for a walk outside are effective ways to slow down.
